The fact of the matter is, all post ps1 era Crash games are shit, and do not exist to me.
Some people like Twinsanity. It is an okay game, but it's not a Crash game. Replace the Crash Bandicoot characters from Twinsanity, and tell me how much of a Crash bandicoot game it is.
I still don't think VV or Activision knows what Crash Bandicoot games are. For Activision, CB is a colorful goofy kiddie game. They made Cortex a joke, they made Aku Aku a humorous character and Crash even dumber than he was before. It's true enough, it's a children's platforming game, but that doesn't mean it should be dumbed down. Cortex (in CB1-2 especially) had evil charisma; In Activision's world he's pathetic loser. Aku Aku was a mentor and a father figure to Crash and Coco in CB3. In Activision's games he says goofy things, and is basically the Grim from Billy's adventures. Crash, even though dumb, he's kinda cool in CB3 riding his motorcycle and a WWI aircraft. Activison thinks it's just a retarded goofball that children love.
Sorry about this autistic meltdown, it's just having grown up with CB I know what the game is and what it isn't, or what it should not be.

This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but I think people put way too much blame on Activision for "ruining" Crash. By the time Activision owned the rights to Crash, the damage had already been done. Despite what I hear a lot nowadays, the company had no involvement with Crash of the Titans (other than releasing the PSP version digitally, years after the game's initial release), and they wouldn't own the rights until late in Mind Over Mutant's development cycle.

That's actually true, and I admit to being wrong. I put blame unfairly on Activision, I didn't remember it wasn't until 2008 Activision started publishing CB, and it's mainly other companies responsible for ruining Crash.
I stand by my statement about them not knowing what Crash Bandicoot is about until proven otherwise, though. I'm sure they could have gotten some of the original voice cast if they tried, I don't trust they did. I don't trust they understand the characters' personalities, and they don't understand the moods of the levels (until proven otherwise).

New video
I'm a bit bothered by the sound effects and the brightness, but other than that, it looks and flows nice.

It's probably real... But at the same time, why does it look so obviously (and poorly) edited?

Idk about limited editions but there's a digital version that comes with a PS4 theme and 2 avatars? www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRfNiFG-FZcI want that avatar (retro), but then again, if lots of people get it, it's not very exclusive and you know me, I like individuality. Btw, there's HD footage of the new fixed textures and colors in N. Sanity Beach. It looks just amazing. Also The Upstream level, which is nothing too special. I'd very much like to see something from Crash 3, and hopefully in the coming weeks we'll get it.
