In my honest opinion, them taking over the forum was the beginning of the end. Before them, there was a very large active membership, and after the switch to jive, the activeness dropped. I assume that it may have picked back up just a little bit when they decided to switch back to lithium, but then each major decision that they pushed out seemed to cut the membership piece by piece. I don't exactly remember what the head admin said about adding like 500 - 1,000 MVP members were, but it really didn't make any sense. We should probably invite SweetPoison here. She remembers everything. If I'm right, I believe it had something to do with promoting some SONY stuff, advertising, and getting our opinions about things for them, the game developers, and other crap. so it was the ps mvp program that was the downfall of the ps forums ? |

The entire forum over there has not been the same since Deltan and Cheatster left, and when they were let go, a good many of the great ones who used to post there left as well. I miss seeing posts from Mericam. Hells Knight, Ryu, and others - and they are all gone now and have been for several years. Once the boards switched from the original format they had, many people left and none of them (I presume) ever came back. In all honesty, those forums have been on a downhill slide for years, and I've seen them go from extreme greatness to this over the past 20 or so years. Personally, I believe they need to close those forums until better arrangements can be made on how they are ran, and the restoration of the features we all enjoyed. And there needs to be a cleaning out of the MVP's, or most of them, and have a new restart to that program, possibly. For one of the main jerks over there to say that we're all a bunch of trolls who complain about that ransacked ghetto of a forum, up him! And they want support only forums now..? They all need to take a long walk off of a short pier, and take those idiot mods with them. |

Fucked up.... Jesus.
Was doing farming in a JRPG, I had been pressing the x button for 6 hours. Thought I'd put the PS4 in rest mode cause it says clearly that applications will be SUSPENDED not closed (ffs). I had a little doubt in my mind that it wouldn't work somehow. So I turn on the ps4 just to check. Well, guess what? The motherfucker had closed the game and I lost all my 6 hours progress. Turns out I need to specifically allow games to be suspended while in rest mode by ticking some boxes in the option menu.
I just fucking can't. All that shit for a fucking bronze trophy, I need to re-evaluate everything. Nothing makes sense.
