lmao i went to start that new job today im getting paid more and doing less... maybe.. i moved a few boxes around today lmao!!!!! my last job wants me back lol Same thing just happened to me . While I was unemployed, I was emailing my resume out to various companies. I accidentally e-mailed a former employer (which I walked out on 2 years ago due to super low pay). And that manager e-mailed me saying that he wanted me back recently. I left him hanging, never responded to the email yet. I assume we're both in the shipping/receiving/forklift operating line of work. I was a supervisor/lead trainer in my previous position. My job now has NO forklifts, so the labor part of the job is way less now. I was talking to a co-worker who is a scientist. I told her my "story" about leaving for a better environment and maybe finding a place where the "grass is greener". She was like "From my experience, I've learned that the grass is brown everywhere (unless you own your own company). I'm like... damn she's probably right.. lol just keep applying man indeed and zip recruiter and craigslist are your friends lets say you start at a decent price an hour but you can do better take that but keep applying you will get another call soon.. also make your resume look really really nice it doesnt matter if you make things look a little... better... here and there tell them youre making that amount but are definately willing to switch for a bigger price.. if they take you.. keep applying unless that job is really good you will get yet another call and do the same thing.. only go if they offer you more evn if its just a dollar or two if its a shit job at least youre making more than the first job.. but trust me.. theres good places out there.. i am warehouse/forklift operator.. its just me and another dude my age running the warehouse.. in about 3 weeks i jumped up 4 dollars an hour because of what i typed above.. i kinda job hopped around this month but wow.. now ill be making 1/4 more than i would be making if i stayed at the first job.. and im still doing less

@hitman_90
Nah dude, I'm not complaining right now lol. Right now, I'm only making .50/hr cents less than my previous position. WAY less labor too. And with raises that will surpass what I was making previously.
I was just trying to point out that story of my co-worker saying that the grass is brown everywhere. Even though things might "look" way cooler and easier in the meantime, once we pass that honeymoon phase of the new job we'll (probably) see the uglier side of things later on. Could be due to politicking or w/e. But yea, I'm happy where I'm at right now. I'm not being pushed to work 58 hours a week to get shit done. The biggest adjustment right now is not operating forklifts. I'm like damn... I so used to driving sick machines all day lol.

Mayweather Boyz Let's GO I'm not a huge Mayweather fan, but when everyone at the fight wanted to bet McGregor with even odds, I was forced to take their money, it ended up being a very profitable night for me. I have to admit McGregor had me sweating the first few rounds. I scored the fight with McGregor winning the first 3 rds, 4&5 even, then Mayweather winning the other rds with rd 8 going 10-8 for Mayweather. Overall it was a good fight, very enjoyable to watch.

I'm not a huge Mayweather fan either lol. He was just the lesser of the 2 evils IMO. I was nervous the first half too. I expected more runaway from Floyd, I was like "Is he trying to lose this fight??" And Connor lasted longer than I expected. Just seeing a shit talker like Connor get his shit pushed in is satisfying to me lol.
