I think those are lovely and I think it's a shame what the kids have to watch nowadays. And it's not nostalgia, because this is the first time I see these. I think these formats along with 2D animation are not inferior to 3D animation. It's all about the content and the quality, which modern children's programmes lack.

When I was a kid, I used to watch the British series Thriller.

Yeah, there's something missing from kids shows now, my youngest likes the old shows I used to watch.
I used to love this one even though all the puppets were creepy looking.

Lmao, that Pipkins show is awful. Has no charm whatsoever. This is Tao Tao, a German children's show. The mother Panda always tells 'em a story that has some sort of lesson. A bit similar concept with the Bagpuss thing?

You'd probably have to watch full episodes of Pipkins to get a feel for it, I loved it Shame I don't understand German, it looks a decent cartoon.

I'm looking at these from an adults POV, so it's different. It's not fair of me to say that your favourite childhood shows are trash, I'm just painfully honest at times. I posted a Finnish dubbed version of TaoTao; I'm not sure if it's been dubbed in English. It's rare to find something unavailable in English.

Did you get the Mr Men cartoons in Finland? I liked them a lot.
