Cannot argue that, look at what it is doing to France!

I don't know how it is in the EU but in Australia there were some things that I think the US could really do itself a favor and copy!
- Public schools requiring uniforms! I know this is utilized in a few EU countries but not sure if all.
- In the US we have gym class. Then you have interscholastic sports, football, soccer, baseball, basketball and so on. In Australia you had gym class but you also had "sport day". One day a week classes were shortened and everyone HAD TO participate in a sport whether it be intermural or interscholastic. This is not meant to be hurtful but I don't remember 1 fat person in school while I lived in Sydney! Between being required to do something physical, swimming (we did have some of the best beaches in the world in the area) and honestly the social environment created more activities people were in shape.
The US could take a lesson here!

2. Doesn't sound like a half bad idea. 1. Not sure about one.

There are a couple of advantages of having school uniforms. 1: People are not judged, in terms of social classing, due to their clothes. If everyone is wearing the same, you shouldn't be able to tell who is rich or poor. This should allow for better socializing. 2: No gang issues in terms of visual queues. 3: Something newer when it comes to an advantage. No lack of clothing or promiscuous clothing issues. The whole "legging", yoga pants, pants hanging at your knees issues!

many public schools are already doing uniforms which i kinda disagree with since many jobs we can dress how we want so why should a public school force me to wear a uniform but then again many places do have a dress code so yeah but its jsut taking away more and more freedoms believe it or not my school implemented uniforms when i was halfway through highschool lol so i got to experience both i was disappointed when they implemented that because i couldnt really express myself that much anymore its not like i was wearing a kkk outfit to school
thats one thing with implementing laws in the usa... many of them take something away from the people and slowly if you keep chipping things off something it will be very small

While I agree it takes away some ways of expressing individuality it also helps stops perception issues and distraction issues.
IF we didn't have some of the dress issues and stereotype issues then it wouldn't be needed. But let's be honest, what do you think HS boys think when they see a girl wearing yoga pants and a half shirt showing as much cleavage as possible? Right or wrong doesn't matter, it is human nature.
