i would argue that 1 and 2 arent even threats to the us directly unless youre talking about a threat to the usa agenda but as in safety id argue that 1 and 2 is not even a threat.. usa is just making them look bad so usa can go to war with them.. it has to do with the world banks etc
isis is a possible threat but not directly either.. the way they are a threat is they put info on the internet and brainwash people... a very small amount of people idk why 4 is on the list.. whats going on there? i was playing mercs 2 andits set there lol but today its a problem still?
anyway i would probably say its a mix of 3 and 5 my 5 would be homegrown terrorism and its not even always called homegrown terrorism or whatever they call it did you guys hear about that guy from cleveland who shot someone he didnt even know because of his personal problems? i think people like that and people who get brainwashed into making homemade bombs and stuff like that
because honestly lol.. usa has tech that a rocket is flying into the usa and they will shoot it down before it even gets near the usa north korea has tech thats behind lol you think todays society will give super high tech or the access to learn about shit like that to countries like north korea and isis? lol isis and north korea and syria are not going to be flying and rockets or planes with paratroopers etc into the usa theyre not a threat at all
your neighbor is a bigger threat to you than kim jong un if you live in the usa
the only way isis would be able to get in the usa is through the refugee system and lay low and then amass when alot of them are in but seriously i doubt they would do that but its actually possible so all this north korea and syria talk is propaganda lol theyre not a threat usa border patrol is on point

Good points.
I guess I look at the Korean situation as this. I fully believe IF N Korea was capable of launching a Nuclear weapon at the West coast of the US, they will. I think they are closer to that capability because China is helping them. Why they would back N Korea is beyond me. China should have zero interest in a war with the US. Could we defend ourselves against a missile attack from N Korea, yeah I am pretty sure we are safe BUT where does that lead us?
The Syrian situation is similar in the fact that the issue could put us up against Russia. While I don't think Russia wants to escalate, I don't think either will back down if something does happen. To me this is a no win situation and I am confident Trump sees that so I think he will stay out of it as much as possible.
ISIS concerns me because of how they are recruiting. I agree that the concern is the home grown terrorism or groups that have come here quietly. I don't know if the stories are true but I hear about Dearborn MI and think WTF!? How can we possibly stop these individuals IF they decide to do something? You can't.
The reason I put Venezuela is because of the socialism causing issues. Today there is a report that the state took the GM factory from them. Their unemployment is extremely high, people are starving and resources are scarce. How long before this becomes an issue for us seeing that we are the World police/savior!?
I am sure someone will use the Other as ourselves. Between groups like Antifa, BLM and all of these "rallies" I wouldn't doubt something big happens. I read these articles and watch the videos and think, WTF are these people thinking? They blame Trump for this or that and accuse people of racism, fascism and so on and cry a man hit me BUT you were putting M80s in wine bottles and throwing them at a crowd. First of all you are lucky you were not shot, second, how you are not in jail? Then you start a GoFundMe for 80k for medical when you weren't even injured! I just don't get it!

I think N. Korea is doing more of the same saber rattling, but given how Trump is reacting to it, is trying to step it up to be that much more threatening. China is doing its best to keep it in line. I think 5 is. Given Russia and their usual bull. They're involved with Assad, so 2 would be as well. They're basically set up in a way to try to destabilize the US. First with the elections, and getting Trump in, and with trying to do so in other areas such as France, for example. Sources: msn and reuters Both Hitman and you brought up some good points about N. Korea though.

wait you actually believe russia hacked the elections and helped trump ? Yep. Plenty of news organizations, such as Reuters have been keeping an eye on the story for some time now. It's too convenient how things worked out in my opinion.

I do believe that Podesta fell for a phishing scam and his emails were used to show the lack of morals, ethics and credibility of HRC and other DNC members/leaders. And that public information showed people what the DNC was really about and people made their decisions based on the facts coming out from those email exposures.
So did they affect the results? Yes but only because they exposed the truth. That being said, people like me who have an understanding of IT, didn't trust HRC and had other issues with her before the Podesta emails.

Then riddle me this, how did he get phished? There had to be some kind of compromise somewhere along the line. And that's where the Russians come into it. Source: businessinsider.com They did so via malware, such as Cozybear. Along with trolling and planting fake stories. Here are some sources that corroborate this: Washington Post , Slate, The Hill, The Guardian, The BlazeBeen keeping an eye on the story via Rachel Maddow, Huffington Post (you guys may not like either of them -- but they've done their research and homework as any good investigative journalist would do), Reuters (which generally is pretty fair and balanced), AP (same as Reuters), and other sources. All of which have been keeping track of the players in the game as a whole. They've followed the money. A guide about it via one of the representatives from the House: swalwell.house.gov/issues/russia-trump-his-administration-s-tiesAn article through the BBC about Trump and Russia: www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38966846

He fell for a fake email. There are several ways to send out spam email to a domain and get a bite. Hell, I get a ton of spam trying to phish me all of the time. Apparently I have some billionaire uncle in the Sudan! OR just yesterday Deltaa airlines wanted me to confirm the flight I just booked. I hope you noticed that I posted EXACTLY who sent me the email! There were over 300 arrests made in an Indian call center for fraud, calling people and claiming to be the IRS and scamming people out of billions of dollars. Is that hacking?
I wouldn't trust anything from Maddow. The fact that she thought she was going to burn Trump with the tax returns that were leaked to her and it turns around and completely slaps her in the face should tell you that. And she still doesn't realize that it helped Trump!
The FBI has stated that they knew a long time ago that there are no ties that are/were illegal or suspicious. They knew this before the election.
I know there are a lot of convincing stories out there, both sides, that "make sense" to people on both sides. The problem is, both sides, take things out of their stories to give it different context. This is why I threw those questions out in the other thread, I wasn't trying to be an ass, I was trying to prove a point. Who do we believe? Hitman had the closest answer, we are supposed to read as much as we can from anything possible and try and make an informed opinion. The hard part though is there is a lot of crap that we have to read through and weed out. It sucks.
Look, IF Trump or whoever screws up, does something illegal or unethical I want justice just as much as anyone else. No one should get a free pass whether they are left, right, rich or poor. We know for a fact that Russia has spies and intelligence on the US, just as the US has on Russia. They didn't hack the election and change the vote counts, they didn't force anyone to vote for Trump. HRC had just as much bad influence on her campaign as Russia added. Did Wikileaks make a difference? Yes, so did Saudi Arabia and a few other big dollar donors. BUT when it comes to Wikileaks, I think there were DNC or fake DNC members that were "leaking" information as well, not hacking!
