I work in IT and know that when devices are built they are designed to be efficient as is and that includes cooling.
Do you believe in adding devices such as Vertical Stands with Cooling fans?
Do you use one and if so, do you believe it makes a difference?
I have been debating this for a while now. I have been thinking about getting a vertical stand for my PS4 Pro. I am kind of particular to what I want and those that are offered typically don't meet my expectations.
I kind of like the PS4 stand by Tree New Bee but it doesn't work with the Pro. www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Console-Cooling-Chargers-Designed-accessories/dp/B01LXDHLNP/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1488992790&sr=8-11&keywords=tree+new+bee
What I would really like though is, I like the look of the Tree New Bee BUT change a few things up. - Add DC Adapter to use for the charging of the controllers instead of through the USB connection
- Have the USB hub in the back
- Options for the LED color (doesn't have to be a huge amount but even 5 would be good, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, White
- Now with HDD support, maybe a spot to hold an external (this maybe a little difficult due to the variety of external HDDs) but maybe a generic shelf or something.
I thought I was creating this post in the Hardware section but apparently not. If a mod could move this, I would appreciate it.

Adding a fan is just a way to collect more dust in my opinion.

I don't trust the cooling fans to do anything more than the internal fan already does. If I move the thread it will say I created it so, unless you don't care, I'll leave it here

I don't care about who created it so if you move it, it won't be a big deal.
That is what I was worried about too, the fan is designed to work as is so I just need to worry about a stand.
So then my dream stand would have the USB options but no fans but space below and air vents to allow flow through the bottom.
