What are those memories/hockey players that have stuck with you after all these years? For me it was the Red Wings (96'-97'). That whole entire series from beginning to end was just incredible. The entire team from this season and even in 98' were just magic. Plain and simple. One of the standouts, Vladimir Konstantinov was one of the best hockey players that I've ever seen. It's tragic what happened to him after the 96'-97' season . Who knows just how much better he could have gotten as a player. Wasn't even near his prime.

All LA Kings related of course Would've picked the Miracle on Ice but PLYMCO_PILGRIM beat me to it. 1. The Miracle on Manchester. Greatest comeback in NHL history. Just amazing! 2. "The Trade". When Wayne Gretzky came to LA. I was extremely excited when this happened! 3. Watching Wayne Gretzky become The Great One! I was a Senior in high school, watched this at home when it happened. 4. The LA Kings win their 1st Stanley Cup against the NJ Devils. And I was at work, watching in the breakroom when it happened. 5. The LA Kings win their 2nd Stanley Cup, two seasons later against the Chicago Blackhawks. Was watching at home when this happened. And when the Kings made it to the Stanley Cup finals in 1993. I went to at least 1 game in every playoff series they advanced to. Damn you Roy and Habs! (shakes fist in air) Ikit Klaw

From 2009, the Habs 100th season
Edit: Crazy to think about it that in the year that the league turns 100, the Habs will turn 108.

Very, very talented.

To many to list. Hawks vs Red Wings, Red Wings up 5-0 going in to the 3rd and the Hawks winning in OT. Then to go to Chelli's afterwards and get Chelli's autograph.
Ranger vs Flyers back in the early 80s. Preseason, Lindbergh in goal and a bench clearing brawl. Lindberg skates over and jacks VanB, blood ALL over the ice. They had to shovel it off! There were 2 seconds left in the 1st so that added the 2 seconds to the 2nd and just cleared the ice. In between periods they had pee wees play, 1 tripped another and everyone in the Spectrum wanted him to get up and fight!! It was nuts! LOL
Playing Rat Ice in the 90s. There were times Hawk players would show up just to have some fun. Chelli showed up, he would wear a 50lbs vest to make it a work out. One time Belfour showed up and was in net. My favorite goal by far! A wrist shot from the circle, skimmed his shoulder, skimmed the bottom of the cross bar! Never forget!
Hawks vs Flyers in Chicago. Came in late, got a couple of beers in hand, getting to our seat and Lindros has an empty net. I scream "put it in" and raise my arms and the beers go all over the 2 in the row in front of us! LOL
Hawks vs Flyers in Chicago, again (2009?), bring my family (6 of us) and my son and I wearing our Flyers jerseys. A little razzing but all fun. Flyers lose, 4-2 and as we are walking out a Hawk fan screams, "how was that game Flyers fan" and I simply responded "When was the last time the Hawks were in the playoffs?" knowing they hadn't been in like 5 years, to a chorus from a large group of fans "oooohhhhhh" and my daughter "oh great Daddy's gonna get in to a fight!" LOL Nothing happened, it was all in good fun.

Probably the '87 cup. As a kid I saw the Hab's win many cups but '87 was the 1st I was old enough to truly appreciate. ..And the 9 OT wins! By the 5th or 6th it was surreal. Overtime in playhoff your usually super nervous but it wasn't anymore! Heart beat slowed down, no stress at all. "Casseau" (Roy) was in the net... oh, and this too.

I was at this game, 8th row in the loge. I still remember us all chanting "Put in Seguin, Put in Seguin"
