I'd rather find a local group to play Splatoon 2 with since online likely isn't the only way to play now. If only everyone had that option. So it's in part what's frustrating. I am sure once it comes out people will set up local meetings like at the local game shop, conventions, etc.

Let's hope that the Nintendo Switch can help Nintendo redeem itself from the Wii U heydays.

Let's hope that the Nintendo Switch can help Nintendo redeem itself from the Wii U heydays. Yea hopefully. But I don't think that the way that they set up their paid online will help them in that regard.

I'm still on the fence with the Nintendo Switch. For me, there's still a lot of pro's and con's that weigh in. But ultimately I think I will wait a while if I end up getting one. Pretty content with the *new* 3DS at the moment

I'm happy about that. Glad it's around that price point. Hoping it stays that way once I get a Switch sometime in the future.

Just found out about this new video via another forum I'm on. It does a good job explaining more about the system itself.

$20 a year doesn't sound so bad for Splatoon 2.

$20 a year to play online multiplayer games and access other services on the Switch is affordable and a smart move by Nintendo.
