Got to try Switch today, local portable multiplayer. The tiny joy-con was kind of awkward to use, and the screen was a bit too small for my eyes. Overall it was a good experience 'cause it was a nice game, but I'm not sure about the portability fad in Japan. You know, the console is tailored for the Japanese market. They have small hands over there and like their consoles portable. Really wish Nintendo had made a full home console. It's all just too gimmicky for me.

The thing is Nintendo's best selling product have always been there handhelds devices. They just combined their handheld device with the power of a console.

WiiU was poorly marketed, and what games did it have anyway? Yeah, it's a home console, but it also had the BS remote play gimmicks. I'm talking a proper home console with no gimmicks (or very little gimmicks, like dualshock 4 type gimmicks). Also, with a proper online infrastructure, that's important.

B-but Nintendu is innovativ! Nah man. They are running a business. They're the Steve Jobs of gaming. They sell gimmicks while their product is the same s*** every time. EDIT: While the Switch is innovative (as far as gaming consoles go) you still pretty much get the usual Nintendo stuff. Well, BotW is something new for the Zelda series, but they've been milking that cow for so long it should be a whole new IP.

They're milking their own cows for years too (Sony with God of War and Microsoft with Halo).

I see what you did there. I was kind of mad when I found out that I needed a friend to turn Jafar into an Alakazam. Same issue with my Graveler (f) named Zarya. You only see what I did there with Jafar and not the others?
