Heard about his passing earlier on tonight. He was very memorable as the coach in Mr. Holland's Opus. |

The Netflix Deathnote adaptation wasn't awful. It wasn't great, but it was watchable. Biggest complaints were the characters didn't really act like their anime counterparts. Biggest disappointment was "L"

It's 4,9 on IMDB, I don't really see a reason to watch it especially since I don't have Netflix.
It's the second best anime I know. 'Watchable' doesn't do it justice.
I'm okay with the idea of Americanizing it, but if it's just poorly done.. yeah, no.
