Jaromir Jagr joins Gordie Howe and Chris Chelios as the only players in NHL history to score a goal after turning 45.

With Jagr still playing I wonder if the Panthers will keep him for the next few years as he could become the 2nd player ever with 2000 points. He did state that he would play until he is 50 so I guess that's not out of the question and he is also only 42 goals shy of 802 which would make him 2nd as well.

Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time! Jaromir Jagr is the last and only active player who was in NHL 94.

That would be crazy if Jagr makes it to age 50 while still playing in the NHL. Guy better stay healthy. Can you imagine if he didn't retire for 3 years before returning to the NHL? His numbers would be greater.

Jaromir Jagr is first player in NHL history with 12+ goals in each of his first 23 seasons.
Only two other players have ever amassed 23 seasons of 12+ goals, but not to start a career: Gordie Howe had 25 such seasons and Mark Messier had 24.
